Jenkins for the Packet Furniture Co, UK.Designed in 1948, and exhibited in the 20th Century Gallery of the V&A Museum.A stunning early bentwood ply armchair by G.A. Jenkins for the company's 'Tecta' range, and part of the CC41 utility furniture, made during and post World War II. An early and rare 'mid-century' piece with great lines, and fantastic design features.This is an example of amazing British Design taking influence form Danish minimalism and is a future collectable classic.This is in original condition without re-upholstery, if you would like the torn base fabric replaced we can do this at no extra cost, we wanted to keep it as original as possible.Condition: In lovely vintage condition. Some signs of wear commensurate with age. Original Upholstery all intact and seat is comfortable. Upholstery has been cleaned.
